Objectives: To promote Chinese culture and to enrich the cultural fabric of the community through performance of Chinese choral music; to develop understanding and appreciation of Chinese choral music; to enrich members' musical experience.
Repertoire: Chinese folk, art, and popular songs sung in Mandarin and Cantonese

Rehearsals: Tuesdays 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Oakridge Centre Auditorium, 41st Ave and Cambie St., Vancouver
Registration Deadline: Aug 20
Basic Membership: Over 16 years of age; singing members must pass audition
Fees: Initiation - $60; Annual Dues - $60 (2009-2010 rate)
Audition: By appointment in late-August or early September after submission of application form.

Usually performs on: Evenings and weekends
Uniform: Men - Chinese Jacket, red fleece jacket, golf shirt and lapel pin to be purchased from the choir ($110 approx.); Provide own plain black suit, plain white shirt, dark socks, black belt and black shoes.

Women - Red fleece jacket, golf shirt, two blouses and one long black skirt to be purchased from the choir ($200 approx.); Provide own black shoes, black hosiery and black dress pants.
